Since 2005, SUDHI has expanded its geographical and physical footprint based on the perspectives and ideas gained from its experiences and understanding after working closely with different communities in the National Capital Region of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh State and Himachal. The operations of the works were being expanded. We are getting the benefit of our hard work in reaching out to the people of the rural community. With the collective participation of the villagers, our team is able to prepare micro plans to collect the basic problems of the villages. So that problems can be solved in a systematic manner.
At present, Sudhi is working for the interests of the families living in slums/footpaths in the national capital Delhi, Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh as well as in the remote rural areas of Dehradun, Almora and frontier district Pithoragarh in the state of Uttarakhand. The focus has been on important and necessary projects related to empowerment and health. Some main details of the projects are being given as follows-
(a) In today’s rapidly growing world of modernization and digitalization, introduction of technology in every field or sector is becoming important. Exciting technological advancements are being made every day. Due to which people are getting benefits in every aspect of their life. Education is one sector that is positively welcoming the adoption of science and IT technology. With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting people across the globe, schools were closed as part of lockdown measures to contain the virus, disrupting education. Yet educational institutions remained connected with students and teachers virtually in the form of ICT to continue academics.
In the era of ever increasing science, IT and social media, the difficult condition of schools in rural areas of Uttarakhand cannot be described. This is the reason why even today many types of shortcomings are exposed in rural schools. The closure of many schools by the government is also a visible example of this.
Due to lack of modern education, villagers continue to migrate to cities. Sudhi’s team has considered very seriously the deteriorating conditions of schools and the problems of migration to cities for education. And then to bridge the shortage of important resources like teachers, furniture and computers in the schools of rural areas of Uttarakhand state and connect education with modern technology, Sudhi started Uttarakhand under the School Adoption Program (SAP). Education Department, Dehradun has adopted one Government Girls Inter College Jayanti and one Government Primary School Naugaon – Dadmi under Block Lamgada, District Almora. At present, 310 girls and 12 boys are studying in these schools respectively.
Many problems have been described in the MOU given to Sudhi by the Education Department,
Uttarakhand for the development and expansion of these schools.
In short, Sudhi’s aim is to present such an example by preparing these adopted government schools in a
modern form, the benefits of which will be seen in the future in millions of talented and nation-oriented
girl students of rural areas.
b) We are on a mission to help street children have a safe childhood and thus for them, moving forward
on the path of building a secure future for the country. Our capable team is on a mission to help children
have a safe childhood. In this way we are moving forward on the path of building a secure future for them
and for the country. We believe in providing holistic care and support to children. We know that when
children are nurtured holistically throughout their childhood, they develop mentally and physically.
Keeping in mind the importance of education, Sudhi identifies the children living on the footpaths in the
national capital Delhi and Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh and takes them to the Child Welfare Center.
After getting Aadhar cards or necessary documents made for these children, they are being sent to school.
Necessary items are also given.
We know that women members are the most capable group in the world. Women take care of the responsibilities of family, children, agriculture etc. But in this time of social media, there is still a serious lack of technical skills and decision-making ability in the economic sector among women in rural areas. This is the main reason for their second class status in the family and society. Due to the government’s reach still being minimal in many mountain villages, the roots of economic backwardness and poverty among women are very deep. Vocational training programs for needy unemployed youth, especially poor women and girls, are non-existent. There is large scale unemployment in the rural areas of the state due to lack of employment opportunities. Due to which women and young girls are extremely disappointed with the current socio-economic and political system.
Many programs are being conducted by Sudhi from time to time to make women selfreliant by giving them self-respect in their community. In these programs, women in rural areas are encouraged in important trades like natural/organic farming in agriculture, jute bag/embroidery in handicraft, computer, trailing, and beauty parlor through self-help groups. So that women can take up self-employment through these small scale industries.

Many works are being done by Sudhi for the conservation and improvement of water sources along with wild animals. So that biodiversity is maintained and the environment also remains in balance. At present, work is also being done by the Government of India to provide water to every one.
Sudhi Foundation is running awareness programs from time to time on the importance of education, women empowerment as well as in its work area to keep the community free from deadly diseases like drug addiction, tuberculosis, HIV, cancer etc.
Not only Uttarakhand state but entire Indian states have different cultural heritages. But the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand state has maintained its distinct identity. But Sudhi’s goal is to provide a platform to emerging artists from among the rural community. For which cultural programs are being given by Sudhi from time to time. Due to which many young artists are getting the opportunity to showcase themselves on different platforms.
